Summer research and teacher outreach
The lab hosted two ENLACE summer researchers and, with the UCSD CREATE center, science teachers from Canyon Crest High School to begin a classroom module on genome editing and butterfly development.
PiBS training program and the Dawson Reserve
Julia Ainsworth joins the Pathways in Biological Sciences (PiBS) T32 training program, and Mike becomes Faculty Director of the UC Dawson Reserve.
